The Journey Church: The Naked Truth
Most church goers have had their fair share of sex talks. I wanted this Journey series to feel like something they hadn’t seen before in church. The overall theme of The Naked Truth was built around the idea that sex is misunderstood within the church, so I designed my illustration to have an educational feel.
To accomplish this I chose a style resembling something you might see in a textbook (a really cool textbook). It was important that I make it edgy but not suggestive, so I chose to make the characters nude, but not truly exposed. In addition, I added icon elements to reinforce the overall topics of the series: love, lust, and marriage.
