The Journey Church: Easter 2009

The key instruction I was given for this project was “no overtly religious imagery or themes.” I chose the tree as a symbol of life and rebirth, and “etherial vines” served as a metaphor for the miraculous nature of the holiday, all the while avoiding anything too religious.

This design was published on various medias such as postcards, door hangers, programs, web elements, projector slides, etc. In the end, there were 30K postcards and 12k hangers. Some people came in with postcards they had found trampled in the gutter. Thanks to this project, I have a new perspective about effective litter design.
